St. Matthew’s Cathedral Arts is preparing to launch a new initiative in collaboration with two Dallas-area visual media artists, to provide a safe and encouraging creative space for those who most need hope and inspiration in their lives. Mill River Arts
Dominick Lucia director of Mill River Arts is hosting a collaborative project with the Center for Grief and Loss and Anita N. Ballet Folklorico to create a large Day of the Dead Celebration. The main goal of the project is to bridge cultures promoting collaboration with groups of people who would not normally be working together on a project. Jessica L. Bell has been hired as a guest artist along with Ben Griffith, Program Director of Cedars Union to assist in the art making


DAYL Charity Ball
Jessica Bell, participating artist, has been selected to auction off work for DAYL Charity Ball. The auction for Dallas Association of Young Lawyers assists in scholarship funds for law school. Honored as a guest artist at the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers, Artist Jessica L Bell auctioned off an abstract landscape oil painting to benefit low socio-economics students who want to attend law school.


Some Shades of Black
"Some Shades of Black" spotlights the work of eight black Dallas based artist, Jeremy Biggers, Diamond Gray, Riley Holloway, Dom G Jones, Jessica Bell, Morgana Wilborn, and Chesley Williams. Biggers, Gray, Holloway, Jones, Bell, Wilborn, and Williams exhibited works in a variety of forms including painting, photography, sculpture, textile art, and text based, and conceptual art. Mural Work
Jessica L. Bell was selected as a muralist at Vertical Life Studios. Completing the entire frontal of the building in collaboration with Latina artist Cristina Estrella Riggs. This mural was executed during summer 2017 and still remains in Deep Ellum Dallas Tx for people to enjoy. The mural was designed off of the business owner's vision.
