By Jessica Bell

Dallas, TX

"Stories in Steel" is a public art sculpture, standing 8í tall, that transforms plasma-cut metal

into a narrative tapestry, honoring Tulsaís cultural evolution and the iconic legacy of Route 66.

Each intricately cut steel panel serves as a visual chapter, depicting the people, landmarks, and

moments that have shaped the cityís identity. Rooted in community history and crafted with

precision, the sculpture invites viewers to reflect on the vibrant stories that continue to define

Tulsa's place along America's most historic highway.

This public art commission is made possible by the One Percent for Public Art Program provided by the City of Tulsa.
